Spicing up your Zoom backdrop would have seemed like such a silly thing 2 years ago, but here we are… one year into working and schooling from home. We all know the person who has a distracting background…weather that be a messy house, loud interruptions or poor lighting, and we are here to help you NOT be that guy! Infact, that is what inspired this blog, was THAT guy (actually girl) who was a professional business woman who was presenting her company to us… but the background was a messy living room! We believe its very important to look professional, even on Zoom…so follow these 3 simple tips and step up your zoom game.

#1. Face your desk & computer camera against a wall or something simple/clean to look at (a bookshelf or blank wall, avoid having a door in the BACKGROUND…kids/husbands will most likely bust in) It will also save you time from having to clean up the background behind you and will be easy to jump into last minute meetings without having to think twice.

#2.as we always say.. lighting is everything! Get a lamp on your desk or sit near a window in front of you, you’ll thank us later.

#3.keep lipstick, blue light glasses & headbands/hair ties on your desk…and maybe a small MIRROR, the tiniest details like pulling your hair back and slapping some lip color on will help you feel and look like you spent time getting ready when you actually didn’t have time to! blue light glasses not only block the harmful blue light blasting into your eyes, but will dress your face up and hide those tired eyes or unplucked brows (yeah, we know girl…#2020).

Thats all it takes to step it up a little! What are you waiting for…
