TILE ENVY
While tile has a very permanent nature, it also brings a timeless element to any room using rich textures, colors that pop or fade into the background, and movement that can fill a space like no other.
Here are a few trending tiles we’ve used and we’ve been spotting on all major remodels these days!
Neutral Simplicity
When you’re working in a home that has architectural features you want to focus on or gorgeous marble counters to show off, whites, creams & beiges create the perfect backdrop which has an intentionally unremarkable look. By setting the stage, this allows you to control what your guest sees, and what you want to accentuate.
Bright Neutrals
Here’s a fun fact - The NEW neutrals we’ve been seeing trend among interior decor are NOT colorless — these fresh takes on neutrals are anything but boring. The key is to approach your use of neutrals as a color to set the stage for the rest of your interior decor.
Let’s take a look at some of these colors being used as neutrals in ceramic tile and interior decor…
Cement Tile
Cement tile is incredibly versatile, and functionally, perfect for most applications. From walls to backsplashes to flooring- indoors or out, cement tiles can be used to transform any space into a place of beauty. And if you’re looking to improve a bathroom or shower, cement tiles are one of the best options available for wet environments as their matte finish is naturally slip-resistant. A beautiful option for the neutral/natural lovers.
Terracotta
Terracotta tile is no longer reserved for Spanish revival homes! In it’s rustic and earthy tone - straight from the earth to your home - these natural pieces of art will add an authentic, handmade aesthetic to your indoor and outdoor living spaces. Terracotta takes traditional tile to a whole new level. Some Terracotta tiles are visibly unique, elevating the dimensional elements of whatever space they’re installed in. These orange and red beauties will warm up your indoor or outdoor space with their natural muted tones and earthy textures. If you aren’t wanting to spend a small fortune on them, we have found many affordable “look a like” options (see below).
